This is my laptop bag!! Yeah....!!!

I am using this fabric for the flap and the lining of the bag. After machine quilting the flap, I used a solid color fabric to bind it.

I cut the fabric and started to machine quilt it diagonally. Bought this fabric from Spotlight. It was on sale!!! I love the colors and the flowery design!

Laptop Bag

I bought this magazine because of the laptop bag pattern!! I have always wanted to make one for my laptop. So today I dropped all my other projects and started on it!

Tulips N Anemones

Finished the 10 blocks. Started today with the the other 3 corner blocks. When I started this, I didn't know that it will end up as my "carry along" project. Whenever I go out and have to sit and wait for 'someone', this has helped me pass my time very quickly!! Finding time for this at home is also going to be quite tough! My Jacobean Rhapsody is sitting on my quilting frame. I have done some quilting on it. I am also sewing a quilt top for my friend, Regina. It is also in the 'process'!!! LOL

All done!!! If you look at the two covers, you'll notice that they are slightly different! I couldn't get the stems to look identical! So the flowers are a bit off centre. But if you just glance at them, they look almost perfect!!! LOL

I don't know if this will look nice on the covers but I will be using the same pattern as the Jacobean. I hope the vibrant colors will brighten up the place too!

Amplifier Covers

Got a request to make these for his precious musical fidelity 750k supercharger monoblock power amplifier! Thought they were speakers! He wanted the covers fast so I machine quilted the fabric before joining the top and the sides. At the back of the cover, I cut an opening for the connectors. For the top,I used the left over sashing fabric from my Jacobean Rhapsodies. I am thinking of using the Jacobean theme for the covers too!

Sorry for being away for so long!! I really didn't expect that!! I thought I could finish it a few days after the last blog!! WELL, it's finally done! I am sooo happy! I am dying to hang this up so I guess this will be top piority on my quilting list! I've got two projects which are on-going as well. One is a set of speaker covers and the other is a blanket top. I'll go more into detail on my next blog!!! LOL
