I added the printed vineyard fabric as the border. I managed to baste the quilt to get it ready for quilting.
After basting the quilt, I made four clothespin bags. These are for a craft sale sometime in February. A friend asked if I can do it so I thought 'why not!' just for the fun of it! There's not enough time to do much as I will be off for Chinese New Year in Miri!! Woohooo!!

Put all the big blocks together. Made six blocks for this baby quilt. Added yellow sashings to brighten up the quilt a bit more! One of the yellow blocks is a little bit off! I don't know why! It's frustrating not to get all the squares to join properly!! Urghhhhhh!!!

Today, I finished putting together all the squares. I like the rich colors. All the plain colors compliment the printed fabric. If only my golf game is like this! Good tee-off, well played short game and good putting! LOL

A short break!

Took a short break to play golf in Sabah. This is the other interest which take up a lot of my time! Not that I can play well...barely infact! How I wish I can play as well as I can sew!!! LOL

Sewed the strips together and cut them into segments. These segments are then sewed into squares. Triangles and squares are nice to work with. There are not much wastage fabric. I don't like working with odd shapes. After this project, I will post a picture of a quilt which I did sometime back and ended up having quite a bit of scraps left!!!

I cut all the triangles and sewed them together with the beige fabric to form squares. These are 37/8in triangles.
After sewing, ironing and trimming the edges off, I started on another project. This time I cut enough fabric to make 13 clothespin bags. Got to find time to get those done as well!! Wish I have more hands! LOL

On Wednesdays, I usually take it easy...CAn't go into my sewing room in the morning! The cleaning lady comes in about 6am........She does the downstairs then goes up and do all the rooms upstairs including my sewing room. When I am into a project, the room can get quite messy!! Sometimes, bits of thread trail out from there too!

So on Wednesdays, I try to do the laundry and get some chores done. Today, I decided to get a hair cut, run some errands and by the time I came home, it was well into the afternoon. I managed to cut some fabric to start off the project. I think the initial part is harder...choosing the fabrics!! LOL

Baby Buckeye Beauty Quilt

Remember the queen size quilt I made sometime in August? I decided to make a baby quilt using the same pattern but with different dimensions. I chose these colors to match the colorful vineyard print.
I am also trying to finish Andrea's quilt. She said she likes the dogs!! I am so happy I don't have to take the applique off!! LOL
