Yes, I listened to the little voice! LOL I used light blue for the border. I made the border the same width as the sashing. This is just to have the log cabin effect. I like the size of the quilt so I will not add any more border strips!

Oh yes, a very good idea to rearrange the blocks. This quilt looks good and gives a three dimensional look. But what a horror to ripple a complete quilt and redo it. I wonder wether the time taken was as long as assembling it...
