After cutting out the patterns and sewing them together, the hard part is stuffing it!!! I like to use cotton rather than synthetic stuffing. To make the dormouse as a doorstop, sew a small bag and fill it with marbles or pebbles. Put it in the dormouse and sew the bottom up. It should be heavy as it is a doorstop!

I'll add your blog to my to follow list as I lived in Malaysia 99-2000 and have been back a few times since. I loved my time there and did lots of sewing. I too like to do bed quilts and I like your work very much.

Yes I love to make bed quilts! But they do take up a lot of time to quilt! I have some all basted but not quilted yet!! My mind is always busy thinking of new projects to make!! LOL
